Jerry
F. London, M.D.
Dr. London was born
in Baltimore, MD while his father was in training. He grew up
in Knoxville, TN and considers himself a Tennessean. Dr. London
is married and has two children. He went to college, graduated
school and medical school throughout the University of Tennessee.
Internship and Residency were performed at The Johns Hopkins
Hospital in Baltimore, MD where both of his children were born.
Dr. London was trained in Gastroenterology in a combined Fellowship
program at Georgetown and the National Institutes of Health,
Washington, DC. He accepted a Clinical Instructor position at
the University of North Carolina to further study Gastroenterology.
Dr. London is the past Chairman of the Department of Medicine
and Medical Director for Gastroenterology at Wellmont Holston
Valley Hospital. He is actively involved with the Medical Staff
and Board of Directors for the hospital. In his spare time,
Dr. London enjoys skeet shooting and fishing.
All of the GA
doctors are Board Certified in INTERNAL MEDICINE
and Board Certified in GASTROENTEROLOGY.
Each doctor is also a CLINICAL ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR
OF MEDICINE for the Quillen School of Medicine at
ETSU.
