Fredric
R. Mishkin, M.D.
Dr. Mishkin is originally from Chicago, (1949) but grew up in
Elkhart, IN. He is married and has two children. Dr. Mishkin
went to college and medical school at Indiana University. He
performed his Internship and Residency in Internal Medicine
at the Akron General Hospital. Fellowship training in Gastroenterology
was in the prestigious Cleveland Clinic. Dr. Mishkin is a member
of the Board of Directors of the Kingsport IPA, a member of
the Education Committee for Wellmont Holston Valley Hospital
and evaluates contracts for Highlands IPA. He is the Medical
Director of the Gastroenterology Associates' office. Recently,
he was appointed to serve on the State of Tennessee Medical
Continuing Medical Education Committee. Boating and hiking with
family are his favorite pastimes. Computers are also a growing
interest.
All of the GA
doctors are Board Certified in INTERNAL MEDICINE
and Board Certified in GASTROENTEROLOGY.
Each doctor is also a CLINICAL ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR
OF MEDICINE for the Quillen School of Medicine at
ETSU.
